Slurry Applicator
Precise, consistent application of slurry mixtures PPM Technologies Slurry Applicators deliver precise, consistent pressure coating of high viscosity liquid and slurry mixtures with accurate weight pick-ups from 1 to 100%. Typical slurries include: cheese/oil/whey mixtures, seasoning, honey, sugar glazes, sugar frostings, tallows, digests, gels, gums, egg powders, oil suspensions and many more. The Slurry Applicator can continuously apply dense slurries without clogging or separation due to the unique spray system and special flat nozzle design.
A positive spray action in a non-recirculating system provides consistent, precise coverage from nozzle to nozzle across the full width of the spray bar. The pumping system
minimizes dwell time so particle suspension within the mix is never compromised. And, single pass flow through the spray bar assures dispensing accuracy without flow measurement devices.
The Slurry Applicator features a totally enclosed spray manifold for all spray components and supply lines. The manifold weighs only 35 pounds (16 kg), slides out of the machine for fast service and includes a single lug-in port for air supply line fittings.
The user-friendly interface features PLC control options, easily serviced pump, manifold and nozzle designs. A variety of options are available including positive displacement, centrifugal, diaphragm, progressive cavity type pumps, and others—for compatibility with your product. Atomizing air is provided by an on-board blower system for assured air quality.
With fewer parts and reduced complexity, the Slurry Applicator saves you money in initial purchase, maintenance and sanitation. The electropolished stainless steel construction features tubular frames, quick disconnect and product lines and quick change nozzles.
