The PPM Technologies BL Conveyor is long known for its reliability and longevity in the food processing industry. This simple, mechanically driven conveyor can be found throughout processing facilities from orienting corn to grading French fries. The BL Conveyor provides a versatile means for screening, dewatering and orientation for many processing applications.
Designed for high volume or heavy head load applications, the BL Conveyor fits a variety of application needs. The unit can be easily customized with various screens and rod decks optimizing the performance of your processing line. With a variety of options, the BL Conveyor is easily customized to suit a variety of applications. Standard designs for cutter feeds and three lane take-away conveyors are available with feed capabilities of up to 14 cutters with a single unit.
The soft-start drive system reduces the power consumption per ton of product handled. It requires only one fourth the horsepower of a positive drive system. And, permits conveyor lengths up to 100’ (30m) with a single drive. This is due to the reduced thrust loads on the drive components due to the rubber shear coupling design.
Standard, specialized designs are available for nubbin eliminators. Incorporating a similar rubber shear coupling drive, these conveyors are available in widths up to 84” (2130mm). This design aligns the corn ears and reduces the amount of nubbins fed through the system improving performance of cutting systems. With options for laning, screening and dewatering, the BL Conveyor provides numerous options to customize the conveyor for your specific application need.
